I have studied different design and advertising production courses in Hong Kong Design First, Hong Kong Arts Center and HKMA. After graduating, I worked in the commercial shooting industry, and switched to media work in 1996. and worked for several publishing groups, including "Easy Finder", "New Monday", "Milk", "Cream" and "East Touch" and other publications of Editor and Editor-in-Chief. In 2004, I invited Michael Lau, the godfather of art toy industries, as a consultant and published a series of toy books "Garden". In 2014, I decide to leave the Media and invited to join Hot Toys, a top toy brand in Hong Kong, as a marketing and project manager, officially joining the toy industry. In 2020, I founded the trendy toy brand Happi Class and the original IP Burger Kun, and created a sales figure of nearly 6 million Hong Kong dollars during the epidemic. But in the end, I decided to resign due to disagreements with investors on quality control and intellectual property sharing. Now I have re-establishing the original brand MADE BY PLASTIC and launching various toy creations.

Burgero -The Mystery of Origins
Three years ago, we founded Made By Plastic. The first character launched at the time, BUR-LANTERN, was a spiritual continuation of an old work that debuted in 2020. Our original concept for creating this worldview was to combine the philosophy of "happiness above all" with an imaginative story set in a mysterious galaxy, leading to the development of characters with distinct personalities. (But we never involve any unrelated supernatural or bizarre themes.)
BUR-LANTERN appears in a yoga meditation pose. In the original story setting, it evolved from a cosmic speck of stardust called BLOOM that fell to Earth. Later, the story progresses to the "Happy Recovery Meal" chapter, where BUR-LANTERN evolves into its second form: the standing BUR-BLES tribe. This series of products and related stories actually held an exhibition for over two months back then at the KK PLUS toy store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Of course, we believe that the number of people who have seen or know these stories is even fewer than the astronauts who successfully landed on the moon in human history. But that's okay—continuing to strive is what we should do.
Next, the further evolved SHAOLIN BURGER articulated figure from the BUR-BLES line attracted more supporters who recognize our brand in places like Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United States, with all inventory sold out. This finally allowed us to transition smoothly along the original storyline into the “Professional” chapter of BURGERO.
To briefly explain here, BURGERO is actually the cruel tale of the little stardust BLOOM, who after multiple adventures and persistence, still couldn’t return to the universe and had to accept staying on Earth to live. The reason he transformed into this appearance and became “professionals” and “working stiffs” in the form of duplicate command soldiers for different occupations is actually a satire on how modern people often lead sad lives. The story’s opening protagonist, BLOOM’s true form, will also appear alongside upcoming “Professional Tribe,” “Mecha Tribe,” “Divine Tribe,” “Natural Tribe,” and “Feline Tribe” (as everyone probably knows by now, BURGERO is actually the open secret of a burger cat) characters in the BURGERO lineup.
We’ve always infused our works with local Hong Kong cultural elements (collective memories) and as many “happy” vibes as possible, all to help everyone rediscover that joyful, pleasant feeling when playing with the toys.
