Wabii Studio—Terry Lam. Since 2018, I have stepped into the 3D scene in Hong Kong, gaining experience in post-production 3D for various advertisements and independent films, as well as designing mascots. Due to work obligations, I ventured into the designer toy field in 2020, assisting with post-production. Throughout this journey, I have always hoped to create and have my own brand characters or animations, just like other creators.
With a deep love for nature and human forms, I created the first character, “Wabii Tree,” opening up the “Wabii Universe.” Through the infinite curiosity of “Tree,” I hope to explore different fields and meet various characters. Each character represents different species, which can relate to nature, technology, dynasties, cultures, and other combinations. Each character is filled with curiosity about the world, possessing their own viewpoints and angles, making the encounters between different characters interesting stories.
I hope everyone can enjoy themselves in this adorable “Wabii Universe.”
