Who Are We?
We are Afterworkshop (AWS), a duo from Hong Kong made up of a couple team, Uncle and Rainbo. Our journey began with street art, specifically mural and urban art, and has since expanded to various creative media. We specialize in mixed-media art that combines graphic and sculptural elements.
Uncle
Focused on creating 3D style Traditional-Chinese graffiti lettering, Uncle explores the fusion of traditional Eastern culture with Western street culture. This intersection of classical elegance and contemporary wildness gives birth to visually striking, new-age, multicultural art that mirrors Hong Kong¡¦s unique history of transitioning from a Western colony back to Chinese sovereignty.
Rainbo
Drawing from her childhood and personal experiences, Rainbo creates a myriad of original works that are inspired by nature and traditional Chinese auspicious mythical creatures. Her portfolio spans street murals, graffiti, canvas paintings, sculptures, ceramics, bronze castings, and art toys, among others.
